Tracy Roy, proper, can take the oath of office for Lewiston finance director June 2 from City Clerk Kathy Montejo.
LEWISTON — Tracy Roy was sworn in June 2 as Lewiston finance director.
Roy most not too long ago served as finance director and treasurer for Augusta due to the fact October 2020. Prior to that she was Augusta’s deputy finance director, treasurer and tax collector from 2013-20 York’s finance director from 2011-13 Auburn’s finance director from 2009-11 South Portland ‘s controller from 2003-09 and an accountant for South Portland from 2001-03.
“Tracy has a wealth of municipal finance experience, like her latest post at the city of Augusta. She is a Lewiston indigenous and returning dwelling,” Lewiston City Administrator Heather Hunter mentioned.
“We are glad to have Tracy on board, and I’m thrilled for the town of Lewiston,” Mayor Carl L. Sheline said.
Roy has a Bachelor of Science degree in small business accounting from the University of Maine of Augusta, is a board member of the Maine Governing administration Finance Officers Association, and has ongoing her skilled schooling as a result of the Kennebec Leadership Institute and the Government Finance Officers Affiliation.
“I am thrilled to start this new problem and to be performing with the Lewiston crew,” Roy stated.
