Frenship ISD introduced that Lela Vela, FISD director of finance, has been picked as a 2022 Increase Award receiver by the Texas Association of Faculty Enterprise Officials.

Vela and the other recipients of the Rise Award were chosen primarily based on their management features, achievements, and their desire to continue growing their occupation. Vela has been with the Frenship loved ones for 10 many years, serving in many roles inside of the Frenship ISD Enterprise Place of work together with Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an lively member of TASBO, earning their optimum certification of Registered Texas School Organization Administrator, but she also participates in a variety of local community and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to younger business professionals and college students.

As a Rise Award receiver, Vela was honored in front of college organization leaders across Texas at the 2022 TASBO Interact Convention Awards Luncheon. Vela claims she was humbled to obtain the honor, and she is psyched to carry on growing as a chief to far better provide Frenship ISD.
